Thoughts for WOMEN WHO VOTE

Since 2001 the Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Committee (the ERLC) has energized a new generation of Democratic women candidates, informed voters, and political activists throughout New York State.
ERLC's mission is inspired by the dynamic legacy of Eleanor Roosevelt, one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Eleanor Roosevelt dedicated her life to expanding the role of women in politics and government.
ERLC's Executive Director, Carolyn Kamlet, joins Future Choices for October 2009 in "Thoughts for WOMEN WHO VOTE" to remind Westchester and upstate NYS voters of the importance of supporting pro-choice Democratic women running for office in the upcoming election, November 3rd.
Eleanor Roosevelt dedicated her life to expanding the role of women in politics and government. As she famously said,
"Democracy is not about words, but action."
